‘Special Vegan Edition’ from Wat De Kas Schaft…’What the glass house gives’









19 August 2017 I had the pleasure to be invited as a guest cheffe by Meike and Kevin from De Kas/the Glass house in Utrecht. The place is runed by these young and active farmers which daily are buzzzing with their hands and feet in the mud. During the highest sunny season in the Netherlands they organize thematic evenings with theatre plays and musical interventions while visitors can try the vegetables and and fruits that grow around them. 

Our collaboration brought on the tabe a menu of 4 vegan courses, with a small interruption to visit the glass house and learn about city farming.

catering for a wedding









In the middle of July I had the opportunity to cook for a vegetarian wedding, these are the picture I could take with my phone’s camera during the ceremony, there will be some professional ones coming soon. It was comforting to be able to work on the menu and collaborate with friends as the bier form Oproer brewery and the bread form the Brakkerij, that uses the by product of the brewers to produce her beautiful buns and ciabattas. Having a vegan chocolate cake done by Zoete Koek and finally use all the organic ingredients from local Dutch farmers.
